What we do

From a cigarette burn to a full re-trim

Specialist in classic & custom, vintage & veteran cars, campers, vans, lorries, boats, bikes and planes. We’ll help you come up with new ideas and designs, using only top quality materials in leather or vinyl, and traditional methods when we restore your classic or vintage car.

Seats and repairs

A simple repair on a seat, a cigarette burn, a tear or rip
Seats recovered and rebuilt in any fabric, leather or vinyl, customised to suit you

Motorbike seats cut down or raised for the right ride height, recovered with piping, buttons or fluting
Boats: a full repair or recovering service, plus cushions, seats, side panels and dashboards
Re-trimming for aircraft, finished to the highest spec

Over the years Peter has refitted many restaurants, pubs and hotels, and recovered antique furniture, sofas and more, using traditional upholstery such as deep buttoning.

Red leather, black piping

Porsche 911T

We took the dashboard out and repaired all the cracks and splits in the old plastic. Once it was prepped, the dash was covered in black leather with red top stitching to follow the shape.

The front seat frames were welded and re-foamed, then recovered in top quality red leather with black piped edges and fluted centres. The rear seats were rebuilt and covered in red leather with black piping, and the car was carpeted in a super wool carpet, all welted in red leather.

From a bare shell

Kit Car

This one started as nothing more than a bare shell. We made the carpets in black with red welting, covered the inspection tunnel in red vinyl and added the handbrake and gear gaiters to finish the floor.

Then came the side panels. We built the seats and covered them in red vinyl with black piping. The car was meant to have an early hot rod feel, and we think we got it.

1936 Bentley

A new hood made from double duck, all from scratch: the old one had fallen to bits after 40 years sat in a barn in the USA. We made up and fitted a headlining to the hood too.

Ariel Square 4

A custom tonneau cover to keep the rain out of the sidecar, and a new sidecar seat: wood work on the frame replaced, resprung and recovered in fluted vinyl.

R1 motorbike

We cover all modern bike seats like this R1, and often lower or raise them so the rider gets a better ride height or can reach the floor.

Audi

A retrim in black leather. We specialise in upgrading modern interiors from cloth to leather or half leather, or just giving them a bit of TLC.
